Maggie’s Irish Cabbage

Cabbage is probably the vegetable Ireland know known best for next to potatoes. If you’re planning a traditional St. Patrick’s Day celebration, cabbage will surely be on the menu. Maggie’s Seasonings revolutionized Irish potato recipes and you simply must try it with cabbage. Serve with potatoes and a nice corned beef. Delicious!

Maggie’s Irish Cabbage

  • 1 Head of Cabbage
  • 2 Quarts of Water
  • 2 Teaspoons of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 6 Cubes of Chicken Bouillon
  • 4 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil until cabbage is tender.
  2. Place cabbage in a bowl and sprinkle a generous amount of Maggie’s Irish Potato Seasoning over the top.
  3. Let stand for 5 minutes and serve.
