- 1 1/2 lb salmon filet
- 3 tbsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 cups water
- 3 tbsp Maggie’s Seasoning (original or cajun)
- 1 can of pineapple slices
- 1 jar of maraschino cherries
- 2 cups brown sugar
- Mix salt, sugar, and water
- Place filet in a shallow container and marinate for 2 to 3 hours
- Drain liquid and place salmon on heavy-duty aluminum foil
- Cover top with Maggie’s Seasoning
- Add pineapple slices, cherries, and brown sugar to a small saucepan and boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Grill salmon on medium heat and marinate while cooking.
